I am building a mini-sumo robot and I need some help. What should I build my robot out of? It is not going to be a destructive sumo robot. The instructor is grading me on craftmanship. Also, does anyone have any ideas about the wheels? Should I just snag some off of toy cars? Thanks.

I don't know much about building sumo robots, that's awesome that you do. What I do have is experience as a consumer of Sumo robots. It is my opinion but I think your mini-sumo should be slightly on the heavier side. As for the tires, get rubber one or really anything that has REALLY good traction.

I think you should buy a sumo robot and then model your design after it, maybe even rip some parts from it like the tires.
