Ever seen a robotic dance concert? Probably not. Well, we sent out a spy to find out which inexpensive robot on the market could lay down the best moves. And the winner is...Robonova.

The Robonova gives robotic hobbyists, students, and educators a complete and robust robot package.

So what's the secret behind these robot dance moves?

This 12-inch high, humanoid robot is controlled by 16 powerful digital servos. These servos feature "set pin" locking of the servo arms for easy assembly, over-voltage current protection, super strong Karbonite gear trains, and "feedback" technology for computer programming.

The Micom control board comes with a flexible interface. The control board can operating a stunning 24 servos plus 16 accessory modules. Optional accessory modules include speech synthesis modules, Bluetooth controllers, RC transmitters and receivers, gyros, and acceleration sensors.

You can program the robot on your computer via the included PC interface cable. Two languages come included: RoboScript and RoboBasic. If you've never programmed before, no problem. You can program the Robonova with a "catch and play" function. Just move the robot into any position and click the mouse to "capture" that position. Now move the robot into another position and click the mouse to "capture" this new position. The software will then link these captured positions and smoothly transition the robot's movements through these captured positions. It will also generate the programming code for you so you can learn how to code in RoboBasic.

If you are already familiar with a basic language, then you are going to love RoboBasic. RoboBasic is based on the Basic programming language.

Robonova teaches basic robotic programming, servo theory, and human motion dynamics (walking, running, dancing, flipping, balance, etc).
